Mr. Gaspari began studying Shotokan karate in 1979. He earned his first-degree black belt in 1982, second degree black belt in 1984, third degree black belt in 1988 and his fourth degree black belt in 2002. Competitively, Mr. Gaspari was a two-time finalist in the ISKF East Coast Championships. He took third place in the ISKF Goodwill tournament and in the US Shotokai Championships. He also competed in the ISKF National Championships. In 1989, he formed the CINGA Karate Club, in which he continues to function as the Chief Instructor.

Mr. Gaspari has worked for CIGNA corp. since 1977 and is currently AVP of Human Resources. He lives in Washington Twp. With his wife Jill, and his four children Rachael, Chelsea, Nicolas, and Joseph.
